Dr. Eliza Lamb has lived her entire life on the east coast of the United States, and the majority of her life in the American South. She is a multi-faceted visual and performing artist - who finds inspiration in quiet moments, warm pockets of light, and communities working together to lift each other up.

Dr. Lamb has performed on stages from Savannah to Los Angeles and has exhibited her photographs in galleries and museums across the country. She is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design where she earned her BFA in Photography as well as Columbia University where she graduated with advanced degrees in Art + Art Education, Arts Administration, and Clinical Psychology with a concentration in mind, body, spirit healing.

Dr. Lamb is forever grateful to the amazing mentors, teachers, and friends that have shared their wisdom with her. She has served as a consultant to arts and education organizations across the country as well as the Curator of the Children’s Museum of the Arts in New York City, Instructor at Columbia University, and researcher for the Alliance for the Arts in Research Universities (a2ru) and the VCUarts Arts Research Institute.

In 2016, Dr. Lamb moved back to her hometown of Hopewell, Virginia to establish the Lamb Center for Arts and Healing - where she works tirelessly to breathe new life and opportunity into a community that she loves. You can find out more about Lamb Arts at www.lambarts.org.
